Ekene Music

Ekene Music is a Nigerian-born singer-songwriter, composer, and self-taught guitarist of the Igbo tribe, now based on the Monterey Peninsula. Every song he performs is his own — written, composed, and arranged from the ground up, across three albums and a growing body of singles.

His sound moves freely between Afro-funk, hip-hop, and spoken word, with a deep pull toward experimental textures — what he calls "introspective storytelling, with sound." A regular voice on Peninsula stages from intimate Pacific Grove rooms to opening the Monterey Symphony at the Sunset Center, Ekene believes the role of the artist is to give the audience closure to feelings they didn't know they were holding.

Jewel Arianna

Jewel Arianna is a singer/songwriter whose stylistic influences range from jazz to Latin to Indian classical music. An academic background in astrophysics and non-dual Hindu philosophy strongly influences her lyrics, and many of her original songs seek to convey scientific concepts through the metaphors of human experience.

Her overarching artistic ethos is to explore the liminal space where science, philosophy, and embodied experience intertwine through the medium of music.

Azi Fedoui

Azi Fedoui is a Central California singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer whose original music threads reggae, rock, blues, and what he calls "altfusion" into something distinctly his own.

A guitarist, bassist, keyboardist, and harmonica player, he records and performs under his own name and as bandleader of Azi Fedoui and the Reggaesoldierz. He has been a regular voice in Monterey Bay's live music scene for more than a decade, playing rooms from Seaside's First Fridayz to Monterey's Customs House.
